Anne McGilvary is a landscape artist based in Calgary, Alberta. Though experienced in a wide range of mediums, she is especially drawn to the versatility and expressive possibilities of acrylics. Her paintings are held in private collections across Canada and in several locations around the world.
Artist’s Statement “It’s about the paint—placing it with intention until it becomes my own interpretation of an inspiring scene. Each piece evolves in its own way, taking on a life that often surprises me. In the end, it reflects my ongoing artistic journey and the simple truth that I love to paint.”
